What finally changed for me was the morning I woke up and realized my life had become its own version of Groundhog Day. The same motions and results from the day before and the week before. Nothing moving me closer to what I actually wanted.
So I made a decision: I needed a clearer vision for my life, and I needed to move as that woman.
I couldn’t think so far into the next year, so I zoomed in and asked myself how I wanted my life to look different in the next ninety days. Almost everything I wrote down happened.
But understand, not because I wrote it down or read it everyday. Because I got clear about how the woman who had already created that life would think, choose, and operate and I became her.
That meant questioning conventional approaches, changing my attitude, and letting go of patterns and behaviors that had helped me get this far but could not take me where I wanted to go next.
For 15 years now, my work has been dedicated to the raising of consciousness and the evolution of women in leadership and in life. I can name all the degrees and frameworks that helped me build this space, but honestly, it is my lived experience that helps a woman move through it.
